We are delighted to announce that, after a rigorous selection process, Tuntum has officially appointed Danielle Oum as the new Chair of the Board.

Danielle, who currently chairs the Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board and the Aquarius Charity, brings a wealth of leadership experience to the role. She also serves on the board of Fusion21 and has previously held several Chair roles across the NHS and housing sectors, most recently as Chair of Walsall Housing Group.

It is a pleasure to welcome Danielle to the Board. She has a strong leadership background in strategic development, stakeholder engagement and transformational change spanning the public, private and voluntary sectors. Her breadth of experience will be enormously beneficial to Tuntum as we begin an exciting new chapter of our story”.

Statement from the Outgoing Chair, Junior Hemans:

“It has been a great honour to lead the Board for almost a decade. There have been many high points in that time, but I believe the best is yet to come for Tuntum. I look forward to many more successes with Danielle in the Chair”

Statement from the New Chair, Danielle Oum:

It is a privilege to join as Chair of the Board. Following the recent launch of Tuntum’s new Corporate Strategy 2024-2027 which incorporates six clear priorities and a revised vision statement, a roadmap is firmly in place to ensure the association modernises at pace – whilst keeping its soul intact”.

Danielle will officially assume her new role after Tuntum’s Annual General Meeting on the 26th of September 2024.

Tuntum’s new Corporate Strategy, titled ‘Building Brighter Futures’, sets the roadmap for the organisation from 2024 to 2027 and is available for public review here.
