Social Value and Sharewear

Date published: 21st November 2017

Each team at Tuntum must spend one day a year volunteering for ‘social value’ causes – this year our theme is refugees, homelessness and asylum seekers.

Our Specialist Housing Team spent time helping out local charity Sharewear, who provide emergency clothing, shoes and bedding to people in crisis in Nottingham. We helped in processing deliveries of donations, and in setting up a fundraising event where £254 was raised for this valuable cause. You can read more about Sharewear at sharewearclothingscheme.org.

Our Finance Team will be volunteering at a Food Bank in Sneinton, and our Asset Management Team will be offering plastering and gardening services to projects supported by a local church. Stay posted for more good news stories about our social value work!
