A message from our Chair
As we say a fond farewell to our long serving CEO, I trust you will
join me in thanking Richard for his leadership, determination, and development of Tuntum over the past 29 years. Under his guidance Tuntum has achieved significant growth and made a real impact in the numerous communities it serves. It has risen to the many challenges that our communities have faced and ‘punched above its weight’ to secure resources that continue to make a difference within our society.
One of Richard’s passions is the Nottingham Carnival that he
was instrumental in saving. Now many years later, it has become synonymous with the Tuntum brand, in bringing together communities and people of all ages from across the country.
As Richard transitions to the next phase of his life, we wish him the very best and have every confidence that his future will continue to be full of outstanding achievements.
Correspondingly, I am delighted to introduce Charmaine Simei who will take the helm as our new Chief Executive from 9 October 2023. Charmaine brings with her 25 years of social housing sector experience and was recently the Director of Customer Experience and Communities at the Longhurst Group. We look forward to Tuntum’s continuing advancement under her leadership.
