Nottingham Carnival 2023, with the colourful troupe parade, returned to Victoria Embankment on 20 August. Organised in collaboration with Tuntum and numerous community partners, this event brought together diverse communities in celebration of Caribbean culture.

We celebrated the opening of a new £4.7m housing project on Manning Street, off Woodborough Road, Nottingham delivered in partnership with Homes England and Nottingham Community Housing Association. The development of 28 affordable homes was named after two former city councillors from the Windrush generation: Des Wilson, the first black Lord Mayor of Nottingham and Tony Robinson, the city’s first black Sheriff.
